I have been designing and creating jewelry for a very long time. Cast sterling silver and 18 k gold were my initial media, and most of my pieces have been for myself , my sisters and close friends.  Then, I discovered how fun it is to crochet wire and beads together, and have made some amazing pieces. Every piece is one of a kind, so variations are to be expected. If you have a special color combination that you would like, just ask. Anything is possible! Let me create a signature piece for a special event, or an everyday piece that will fit in with your wardrobe.

About Marianne’s paintings: Marianne uses art to tell a story. The use of bold color and offset perspective infuse these stories with energy and excitement. Landscapes, seascapes, birds, flowers, still life, and figurative compositions are all frequent themes. Using her own photographs for reference, she carefully designs a dynamic composition. Then, she applies a quick wash of crimson over very heavy canvas. As work progresses, some areas are developed more than others. To achieve an ethereal effect, she softens some edges, then applies multiple layers of transparent color to make her work “glow”.
